Webmaster Tools and Tips is one of 20 KIPCUG SIGs (Special
Interest Groups) that meet monthly. Kentucky - Indiana PC Users Group
is the largest user group in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The General
meeting is the first Tuesday of every month. KIPCUG meetings are open to
members and visitors are encouraged to attend free of charge.

and images. Images can be the toughest of the 3 for the new webmaster
to handle. Our "how to" will cover:

Shrinking the file size of any image to improve load time.

How to use a drop shadow for a 3-D effect

2 or more images to create a simple layered effect

- Understand
the difference between a .JPG and a .GIF
- Choose
the correct dpi (dots per inch) for your web pictures
- Create a "thumbnail."
